Akifumi Gunji郡司淳史

Vibes Manager

Born in Tokyo, June 15, 1988.
Founder & CEO, Sinden Inc.

After graduating from Nihon University, I joined a media company. When I couldn't find a job after leaving, I made a living through construction, cleaning, and moving work — and taught myself planning along the way, eventually going freelance. Since then, I've advised companies including Gaiax Co., Ltd. and the JR West Group.

Music events, outdoor festivals, travel — these hobbies eventually led me to tea. In 2016, I launched the tea project "VAISA" with friends. Later, together with Hiroyuki Karikomi (creative director) and Yusuke Daimon (architect and spatial designer), I co-founded Sinden Inc., built around the idea of "putting heart back into things."

Along the way I've started small businesses — the music event "choutsugai," the outdoor festival "caravan," and Gunji School, a community school built around the motto "just move first."
I work and live by a simple line: be kind to others and to yourself — with love, gratitude, and respect.

In 2018, I started "Homeru (Praise) Bar" with Sanpo Yamanaka (editor) and Suzuka Nakanishi (writer) — a space built around the act of praising others. We've now praised over 2,000 people, and the format has grown into work with companies on team-building. I also lecture at Nihon University and other schools.

Currently using biological data to optimize my own body.
As a precision nutrition counselor, I also read other people's data.
Traveling all 47 prefectures of Japan for an art project.
In 2027, moving to Barcelona.

Sinden Inc.life is beatfull.

Founded in 2018.
A creative power plant for rethinking context and essence — looking back to look forward, co-creating the best expression of things and ideas.
Building spaces where people can be human.
That's what we work on, every day.

Homeru (Praise) Bar

It started with a single thought: "I want to be praised, too."
An experience where someone else puts your overlooked qualities into words.
Since 2018, we've praised more than 2,000 people.
Held irregularly in different places.

Gunji SchoolChi-Kaku-Do-Ko ─ just move first

A community school built on a single motto: "just move first" — make peace with the fog, and step into it.
For anyone who wants to change something, go independent, or switch careers.
A place to take the next small step.
Want to find that spark, together?

Biological Data AnalysisToward "ultra" good spirits.

Vaguely tired. No energy. Getting through the day takes a little too much effort —
has that become your "normal"? Honestly, I was one of those people too.
When the body comes back into tune, your actions change — and life changes. Turns out it's true.
Health checkups, blood-donation results, iPhone health data, everyday meals and more.
A special analysis of the biological data you already have.
A program to build, together, a health plan toward an "ultra" good-spirited you. Now running (Japanese only, for now).

Just Move Experimental Society

A space for living more like yourself — through experiments.
A society gathered around the motto "Chi-Kaku-Do-Ko" (just move first), experimenting with life itself.
Together, we test how we live, how we work, how we treat the mind and body.
Small actions you can try today, shared every week.
